At that time, they built and operated the Wayside Beach Supply and Down Stairs Oyster Bar from 1969 to 1988 which is now known as Toucans. They also built Buena Vista Motel on the gulf in Mexico Beach and operated it from 1973 until selling in 2000. Teresa's experience is broad and includes hotels, restaurants, shops, and various other commercial properties and businesses. She knows Residential and Commercial. She knows Gulf County, Franklin County, Bay County, the back roads, the creeks, all the waterways, the people and the history of the real estate market. She has four children; three are in the active service – Daughter is a Captain in the Army and just returned from her second tour of duty in Iraq. One son is a Staff Sergeant in the Army, served overseas during Desert Storm, and is currently stationed at Camp Pendleton; and the youngest son is in the Marine Reserves and is attending law school. The eldest son served in the Marines for 5 years.
